I 200-watt version of this product, and it's amazing! I cook a lot, and I used the shell that comes with it to chop nuts and even the grind is good for crusts of cheese! It works well for Graham cracker crumbs, Graham crackers, because before I did it in a sack and destroy the hell out of them with the roller.

I have not used in soups or something of the past than others, but my husband is initially persuaded me to do so, because, he said:He was a boy, his friend and were used to mix with hot chocolate - makes the best hot chocolate, I think. :)

I choose this immersion for the fact that blade assembly is metal and not plastic. I put it right in a hot pot of soup and blend away. Another reason I liked this model so much is that the blade assembly disconnects from the motor and can be put into the dishwasher. I’ve been using it for a few years now and all is still well and good. I thought maybe that the point of connection might weaken over time, but that has not happened.

I get much more use out of this than I ever got out of a regular and far more than I expected! I don’t use the whisk tool but the immersion and I use a lot! It has a ton of speeds and is very powerful and versatile. It’s also simple enough to use that my boyfriend can use it, and he can’t figure out our toaster oven. It’s been going strong for three years and I’m tempted to buy one as a back-up in case this one ever dies!

      Since the brand name and impressive features of this instrument, I had high hopes for his performance - but eventually I found it to be just "good."
