Twelve years and still working full steam ahead! I did it for Christmas when I was in college in 1998. I've used almost every day for the first two years, only rarely for the next seven years, and every day over the last six months. Yes, I think we can say that about 3 years total working days. We are still waiting for that day will come when to burn the motor or something, but not in this day has come! I almost always used only for mixing cocktails:Fruit, oatmeal, ice, etc.

This little device can cut through frozen fruit better than any other mixer I've tried. Cleanup is easy as well. This is more than I had hoped. This makes it easier, fruit cocktail on my weight loss program.

I bought a good $ 5 to replace the blender. in case of failure is that the mixer for connection of metal, but the motor side of the plastic got ripped. I tried to find a reasonably priced blender with two pieces of metal, but could not. So I chose this system is mainly due to good reviews, more than most systems and variable speed motor based. I use to drink protein after my workout mix. After 2 months of use, I feel verythe quality of IT. The mixer is a bit 'difficult, but feels that it is built as solid. I only used the standard mixing attachment and cup, graduates matching in milliliters and ounces Suzy I used, but only the hand and Suzy and it worked fine. Mixer can be a bit 'difficult to clean because there are O-Ring Blade. So far, the points of plastic device for engine wear. I hope that this model is constructed and adapted so well that Ido not worry about plastic ring device fails.
